Public speaking and debating facilitates all students of every level with both Seniors and Juniors participating in weekly debates and workshops. Every week students meet to debate on a new topic which can range from world issues, moral and ethical questions to fun and light-hearted topics.
Throughout the year we engage in our own afterschool debates and Seniors compete in Concern Debates and at College and University level. Over the Years we have seen some outstanding Successes with students making it as far as Finals in Trinity College's Phil Speaks Competition, we also saw students make it to finals in the last Aoife Begley Memorial Competition in NUI Maynooth.
